Making Eyes

Dwarf Bearded Iris have a huge colour range. They produce a carpet of flowers in September and October, and make a good rockery and border plant.

Dwarf bearded Irises need a little frost in winter in order to bloom, and refuse to flower in South Australia, and probably Northern NSW.

They require similar condiditons to Tall Bearded Iris, needing virtually full sun, but they require a little more frequent watering especially in the drier months.
